How much is the party per head?
£11.50 per person
What does the price include? The price includes entrance to aMaizin! AdventurePark (Maze included from 01st July), food, party bags, tractor ride and access to aMaizin! Barnyard. A non-refundable deposit of £50 will be taken by credit card at the time of booking. This price includes our exclusive postcard invitations which will be sent with your confirmation.
How long is the party? As the children are very active we tend to find that 2 hours is plenty.
What happens if the weather is bad? Firstly, we make a decision to continue based on safety. If we decide it is safe to go ahead, you have the choice whether to continue or re-arrange if is forecast to be wet. We find if the parents are relaxed about showers then the children are too. Playing in light rain adds to their excitement! If you are concerned then we are happy to re-schedule. We would much rather you were happy with your party than continuing with misgivings. Your party can also be transferred to aMaizin! Craft.
Do you have undercover areas if showers are forecast? We have a party marquee where children can eat inside. There is additional shelter in the Barnyard and also some activities such as the Dusty Mountain Goldmine! aMaizin! Craft is available should you wish to purchase a craft activity whilst waiting for weather to clear.
What does the food consist of?
We keep it simple and have a choice of hotdogs and burgers with chips, unlimited squash and an ice-cream. We reserve the right to amend this if necessary. If one of your children has special dietary requirements please speak to us and we will endeavor to help. Picnic food is not is allowed in the AdventurePark, which has proved effective in ensuring we do not develop a seagull problem. Please hand your cake and any other food directly to staff on your arrival. Although no two groups eat at the same time the party area is not available exclusively, so please do not leave your bags unattended.
Do you have minimum or maximum numbers of children attending the party? There is no maximum but due to the popularity of the parties the minimum is 10.
What do I need to bring? You only need to supply the birthday cake and candles. You will also need some pens for the maze (if after 01st July). Don’t forget towels and/ or change of clothes for "water pistol wars"! A changing area is available next to the "beach hut" toilets! It is advisable to use the water area at the beginning of your party and leave extra clothing in the marquee.
Do you supervise the party? No. We cannot supervise the children due to the unique nature of the attraction. You will need to provide 1 adult to every 5 children, paying special attention around "water pistol wars", go karts and giant balls. There is no charge for assisting adults. We do co-ordinate with you regularly.
Why can’t parents come into the Maze or AdventurePark to collect their children? We have made a specific party drop off/pick up point to the left of the entrance area. Therefore you will need to greet your guests and parents at the entrance where we will also take the food orders. For safety reasons it is imperative that the parent / organiser take the children back to the entrance to ensure they depart with the designated guardian.
Departure will be via the Barnyard
This can be a problematic area for our staff so we would be grateful if you could allocate one of the adults in your party to this role.
Can I bring more adults than recommended?
We try to be flexible with the adult numbers as we know that grand-parents like to attend. If your child is 3 or 4 and invited children wish to have one parent stay we have no problem with this either, but the decision will be at the managements discretion and any extra adults and children will be charged at the normal entrance rate. From experience, we know that sometimes the more adults you have the less help you can get as people use the time to "catch up" with friends. Now that the Park has grown in size, please ensure that you have key helpers.
Please note that parents of invited children wishing to stay after the party will be charged entry. Party children will not be charged as their entrance fee was included in party price.
Does my party get a tractor ride? Yes. We arrange a tractor ride for your party either before or after normal rides. Children need at least one adult to accompany them and other adults are welcome. Mostly, the ride will be for your party alone but smaller parties will need to share with other visitors to the park. We cannot guarantee the tractor ride if you are not at the tractor point at the time allocated by you party co-ordinator.
One of the children attending our party has a season ticket – do I get a reduction? No. The entrance to the AdventurePark or Maze is already subsidised as the parties are a considered a form of advertising and we have a high return rate from children attending. If you have a season ticket and are making a party booking for one of your children listed on the ticket, please let us know as they will not be charged provided the numbers are 15 and over.
Additional Information
We strongly suggest that you use the "Water Warriors" area at the beginning of your party. This will ensure clothing remains in a smaller area and gives the children time to change.
The Toboggan Run has a height limit and smaller childreb will need an adult to use this facility.
Lost Property - Items left at the Park are collected every evening and placed in Lost Property. Please email us at enquiries@jerseyleisure.com to check if we have found missing items. We regularly find that at the end of a party, parents can pick up left clothing and distribute at school, if we don’t have your items they are often with parent helpers who attended the party. Occasionally, items are returned later as they have been taken in error, we therefore check our list regularly to try and locate owners of items. At the end of the season all remaining lost property is given to charity.
How can I book? Please telephone 482116 to book or enquire further. If the phone is engaged you will automatically be routed to voicemail, please do leave a message and we will revert shortly. We do not take provisional bookings and a deposit of £50 will be required.
Please note the Park closes at 6 p.m. Weekday party bookings must finish no later than 5.45 p.m. Please allow time to gather clothing.
